Armon Naeini is an Iranian multimedia artist, creative technologist, and educator. His work navigates the paradox of embodiment and dissociation through the augmentation of self-image. Armon produces interactive installations, AR/XR experiences, real-time graphics, and experimental hardware to explore the relationship between identity, technology and entropy.
He is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts ITP, an art program focused on experimental expression using emerging technologies. Currently, Armon is a Professor at the School of Visual Arts teaching Code For Design where he instructs TouchDesigner and creative coding. Armon also works as the Design Lead at Brooklyn-based startup Baton.
Armon has exhibited his work a Secret Riso Club,Meow Wolf Denver, Center for Performance Research, NYU, Newlab, and the Times Square illboards.He is also a live performer and VJ, using custom-coded, real-time software to create interactive performances.
